M1909 Saxon matching set ammo pouches

Nice set of M1909 ammo pouches for Gewehr 98, for enlisted men.

Manufacturer marked ; R.Max, Niederschlema, 1916. (town in Saxony)

Good in shape, but some damage to the closing strips, see photos.

Both pouches have the same ink stamp on the inside of the middle bag; B.A.XIX, 1917 ( = Bekleidungsamt 19. Armee, 1917 ).

The 19th Army consisted of only Saxon regiments.

The leather is a bit dry but in good and complete condition.

Very rare as a matching set nowadays !!
