The bayonet is in reasonable condition and the blade is in reasonably good condition (slightly stained).
Inspection stamp above the push button and crossguard
The blade with the year 1916 and purchase stamps.
Also manufacturer marked; VC. Schilling, Suhl.
The scabbard is in reasonably good condition, knob has an inspection stamp
The leather frog is sturdy and still vaguely marked on the back with a manufacturer’s stamp; Schneider, Briel
Fitted with a Troddel for a Prussian NCO.
The sling of the Troddel has been shortened in two places, see photos.
